I have always been one to learn new words - a logophile, if you would. Well, I have found myself faced with a list of obscure terms which I have not heard before. So obscure, in fact, that these terms face being delisted from the Collins dictionary.
Here are some of my favorites from the list:

I was reading Griner’s Blog over at TheSocialPath.com and his latest post had an interesting image of a graph the blog. Of course, I got curious and decided to graph out my blog using this cool web page graphing site:
I am not sure what exactly it all means, but it sure looks purty.
Well, the Accord has made another milestone. 100,000 miles. It is still running strong too.

Some stats:
And, yes, apparently I thought it a good idea to snap this picture as I was heading to my house. I could’ve waited, but I was in the moment. I, however, do not condone driving 42 miles per hour and taking a photograph of your odometer.
The internet is full of crazy t-shirt designs. Geoffrey alerted me to a new t-shirt site called Disinformation T-shirts. This site has just recently opened. They appear to be a promising groups of folks. Especially if they can make me question if I can really trust my t-shirts anymore. Hmm…
This one is probably my favorite of the bunch, so far.
Enjoy!

So Brian alerted me to an Internet fad that I was unaware of… the creation of my own fake band. Here are the details:
So, the latest internet meme (fad) that’s going around is the band album cover theme. You pick random words and pictures from Wikipedia and Flickr and combine them to create your custom band album. It goes like this:
- The first article title on the Wikipedia Random Articles Page is the name of your band.
- The last four words of the very last quotation on the Random Quotations page is the title of your album.
- The third picture in Flickr’s Interesting Photos From the Last 7 Days is your album cover.
I now present you my new fake band:
Mix it all together with some Photochop (thanks, G)… and you get:

I’d love to see what you come up with, so please — post a link to you creation in the comments!
Happy New Year to all! Here is to a great 2008!
