Weird Al – “Craigslist”

By XeroCube | June 16, 2009

Weird Al Yankovic has released the new video for his single “Craigslist” on YouTube. His “tribute” to The Doors is quite good and one of his better produced songs, in my opinion. Check it out!

THat’s really pretty good, but I think his best is still genius in france http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5iUyO0D1U0 and my favorite is still White and nerdy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xEzGIuY7kw&feature=channel_page

The video for the first one is a game called “audiosurf” http://www.audio-surf.com/ That was the most interesting of the videos available because there’s no official video for “genius in france”, and most of them are things that random people did in paint and windows movie maker.

I was wondering if he did a video for ‘Genius in France’, which I agree is definitely one of his best songs. It shows the depth and range of his band through the many numerous styles through the course of the song.

‘White and Nerdy’ is probably the best “mainstream” song he has done. It ranks up there with ‘Fat’.

All this said, I am looking forward to hearing the new album. I hope ‘Craigslist’ is just the tip of the iceberg. Though I wonder which songs will be included in the obligatory Polka Medley.
