Once again, I read another story about rampant deaths. Who is the culprit behidn these heinous deaths? The headline says it all:

I say it’s well beyond the time to ban the blasted Sun…

As I was doing my morning reading, I stumbled across this article on CNN.com. Here’s a link for your review:

To summarize, it discusses a clever business outfit called Carbonite, an online backup and recovery system. For as little as $5/month, you can have this utility installed on your machine that automatically encrypts and backs up your selected files to Carbonite’s secure data centers. This happens behind the scenes on your PC whenever it is connected to the Internet. And, the best part, is the fact that you can backup unlimited amounts of data.

This to me seems like a great idea; however, the idea of offloading my personal information to an external corporate data center seems a little disturbing. So that is an idea that I am goign to have to work through, but it may be worth it. Just think, no DVDs or CDs to keep up with and it’s available anywhere an internet connection is available.
