I am sure this may come as a shock to some of you… and not some much a shock to others, but I am engaged now!

I asked Brandy to marry me while we were on vacation at Anna Maria Island in Florida this past week. I asked her on July 5th… told her I couldn’t imagine my life without her in it… she smiled… I asked her to marry me… she said “Of course, I will. Don’t be silly.” Then I gave her the ring… she cried…

 

Oh yeah… she said “Yes.”

Sorry for the lack of posts over the last week, I’ve been on vacation.

So for starters, Happy Independence Day to everyone here in the States. Happy 230th Birthday, USA! Hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday. Here’s is the best picture I got during our celebration on Anna Maria Island.

 

The island was great. It was a little odd spending the whole week with Brandy’s family, but I learned to love them… and fairly quickly too.

As for Tampa — big city… almost too big for me. Maybe on my next trip, I will learn more about that place. Anyway, more on that later…  bigger news is pressing…  please stay tuned for the next post…
